Communicator Submissions

The following guidelines apply to all submissions:

The Dresden Communicator serves as an educational newsletter for Dresden residents and other interested parties. The purpose of the Communicator is to provide educational information to residents on town events, organizations and resources.

Content Guidelines:

Articles should contain informational news (ie. something that is going to happen or did happen: Concerts, presentations, available town resources, Town organizations).

Keep articles to a reasonable length in consideration of space limitations

Proper Names are only to be used in reference to events and publications (authors, musicians, performers ect.) and for contact information.

Editorials and opinion pieces will not be published.

Articles should not be commercial in nature or promote a product, service, or company.

Articles should not expressly address any political candidate or issue

Articles are to be written from the point of view of the organization or event (ie: The Library will be….,  The Fire Department is…., The Staff has been…….)

Articles are not to be written in the 1st person singular (I, me, my, mine) or involve personal commentary.

Check content for spelling, grammar, accuracy, etc.

Publication is subject to space availability.

All accepted articles are subject to editing for style, clarity, guideline compliance, language, and length.

Submission Guidelines:

All Articles are due by the 20th of the month at midnight without exception

Please submit articles and address any questions to bridgeacademydresden@yahoo.com

Please submit articles via E-mail as a Word document attachment.
